Line 2 of Karaj Metro, with a length of approximately 27 kilometers, starts from the northwest (Kamalshahr area) and continues through University Square, Shahid Ajorlou Square, and Imam Hussein Square towards the south of the city (Malard area). It includes 23 stations, a central depot, a stop (parking), a command center building, and a completed tunnel with a diameter of 8.40 meters. The line will have underground, elevated, and at-grade sections. The scope of the contract in this phase includes engineering services for the system within the first phase of the project. This includes all facilities, appendages, installations, equipment, and main and ancillary structures within the area between stations B2 to Q2, the depot, the command center building, and more.

System engineering will be effective in all sections of the project, including fixed and movable equipment, structures and architecture, roads and infrastructure, operation and maintenance, power substations, cabling, terminals and tunnels, specialized facilities, navigation, and all related sectors. The scope of system engineering services includes the following:

Review of all architectural drawings of the stations and the command center building, as well as the assessment of the interface of architectural equipment in the stations.

Review of all installation drawings of the stations and the command center building, as well as the assessment of the interface of equipment and general facilities in the stations.
